主講人介紹:Deping Ye(葉德平),2000年本科畢業(yè)于山東大學(xué),2000-2003年在浙江大學(xué)讀研,2009年博士畢業(yè)于美國(guó)Case Western Reserve University,現(xiàn)為加拿大Memorial University終身教授,并主持加拿大國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金(NSERC)項(xiàng)目。現(xiàn)任加拿大數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)旗艦雜志Canadian Journal of Mathematics和Canadian Mathematical Bulletin,以及加拿大數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)新雜志Canadian Mathematical Communications的副主編(Associate Editor),并于2017年獲得JMAA Ames獎(jiǎng)。長(zhǎng)期從事凸幾何分析,幾何和泛函不等式,隨機(jī)矩陣,量子信息理論,和統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)等領(lǐng)域的研究。已在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.,Adv. Math.,J. Funct. Anal.,Math. Ann.,CVPDE等國(guó)際著名雜志(數(shù)學(xué)類(lèi), 數(shù)學(xué)物理類(lèi),和統(tǒng)計(jì)類(lèi)) 上發(fā)表論文40多篇。


內(nèi)容介紹:Affine isoperimetric and isocapacitary inequalities are key results in convex geometric analysis. They provide deep connections between geometric quantities that remain unchanged under volume-preserving transformations and link naturally to analysis, partial differential equations, and other areas of mathematics. In this talk, I’ll discuss a higher-order generalization of these inequalities in the space of real matrices M_(n,m) (R). In this setting, I’ll introduce several affine invariants, including the m-th order p-affine capacity and Orlicz projection bodies, and describe our recent results on the affine inequalities that relate them.
